409 - Applying Transformational Leadership Principles to the Practice of Occupational and Environmental Medicine: Lessons Learned and Applied Part 2

Pivoting forward from the COVID-19 emergency, the practice of Medicine has transformed and presents OEM professionals with an abundance of opportunities - such as virtual health care, a renewed focus on worker safety as novel infections arise, and an ever-increasing focus on the efficiency of services given the financial pressures that organizations are currently facing. The presenters, all senior OEM leaders, will define and describe “transformational leadership” and present strategies used by famous leaders throughout recent history to drive positive outcomes and even change the world. They will also share the transformational leadership skills and strengths - such as connections, collaboration, and communications - that they have humbly learned over the careers to continue to advance the health, safety, and well-being of the working populations that they serve.
