Craig D. Thorne, M.D., MPH, MBA, FACP, FACOEM serves the Medical Director, Enterprise Occupational Health, Cleveland Clinic and is responsible for the strategic, clinical, operational, and financial oversight of all Occupational Health programs, CC AtWork (for external clients), and Caring for Caregivers (including EAP services). He earned his medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, followed by a rotating internship at University of Ottawa, Ontario. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the Department of Medicine, Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. He earned a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a completed a fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland, and a Master of Business Administration focusing on Medical Services Management from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Dr. Thorne is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
