Denise Zoe Algire, MBA, RN, COHN-S/CM, FAAOHN is the Director, of Health for Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers in the U.S. with over 290,000 associates. Ms. Algire is a nationally recognized expert in healthcare and risk management with more than 25 years of industry experience. She is a published author and frequent speaker at industry conferences. Prior to joining Albertsons, Ms. Algire was a Principal and National Practice Leader for Risk Navigation Group where she developed best practice strategies for multiple Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Prior to this, Ms. Algire was the CEO and COO for two large medical groups and held leadership roles with two third-party administrators. Ms. Algire served as Lieutenant Commander for the U.S. Navy Reserves, assigned to the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion of the Marines and the Joint Forces Task Force - Defense Threat Reduction Agency. She is board certified in occupational and environmental health and a fellow of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses. She received her MBA in International Business and Global Leadership from the University of Texas and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico.
