Major (Dr.) Nathan Jones (MD, MPH) is an active-duty Air Force physician board-certified in both occupational medicine and lifestyle medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and volunteers on the ACOEM Board of Directors. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, Major Jones has served as the occupational medicine lead to the USAF Lifestyle and Performance Medicine Working Group since 2020. In that role he has been instrumental in multiple initiatives including a multi-million dollar grant for the development of a lifestyle medicine mobile application for the military. Major Jones completed his residency in occupational medicine and his MPH at the Harvard School of Public Health where his research focused on the implementation of lifestyle medicine principles in workplace settings. He has published, presented, and consulted extensively on this topic, and is a co-author of the ACOEM guidance statement “Incorporating Lifestyle Medicine Into Occupational Medicine Practice.
