Ron Estrada
Chief Executive Officer
Ron Estrada joined Farmworker Justice as its Chief Executive Officer in March 2022. Before this role, Ron served as the Head of Government Relations and Senior Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at Univision Communications, where he developed and nurtured strong partnerships with community organizations and key local and national stakeholders, including business, non-profit, and government leaders.
He also directed policy, advocacy, and Corporate Responsibility initiatives for network and local media teams representing 126 broadcast and radio stations across the US and Puerto Rico. Ron previously held a senior executive position at NCLR/UnidosUS and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Boards on which Ron currently serves or has served include the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, National Food Museum, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Marriott International Association Advisory Board, National Park Foundation’s American Latino Heritage Fund, and the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Estrada comes from a family of California farmworkers and is a first-generation college graduate. He holds a B.A. in Education from the University of Redlands and an executive certificate in Social Responsibility from Johns Hopkins University.
