CPT ERICA TANIA DAVILLO MC, MMPHA, is a distinguished figure within the medical community, serving as an active Military Physician in the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Renowned as one of the pioneers of Family and Community Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine in the Philippines, Dr. Davillo has significantly contributed to the advancement of healthcare in the country. Her pioneering spirit extends to her role as the pioneering Medical Corp to start the Department of Family and Community Medicine along side the inauguration of Occupational Military Medicine within the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
An alumna of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Davillo embodies excellence and leadership in medicine. Her commitment to medical advancement is further exemplified through her role as President of the Association of Medical Doctors For Asia-Philippines, where she works tirelessly to promote healthcare initiatives and professional development. Also the Chair of Adhoc Committee on Dengue Program of the Philippine Medical Association.
Beyond her medical endeavors, Dr. Davillo is a passionate advocate for mental health, championing the cause through her initiative "Grateful Mind. Stress Positive". Her dedication to holistic well-being underscores her belief in the importance of mental health awareness and resilience especially for the uniformed men and women in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Davillo has been honored with the Gawad sa Kaunlaran Award (Development Award), the 2nd highest distinction presented by the Armed Forces of the Philippines for civilians and government officials.
Dr Davillo also received scholarships from AOHC 2022 for residents and at the Leadership in Medicine from Harvard Medical School.
Additionally, she is the entrepreneurial mind behind Kai Clothing, showcasing her multifaceted talents and entrepreneurial spirit. Dr. Erica Tania Davillo continues to inspire and uplift others through her unwavering dedication to healthcare, leadership, and advocacy.
