Brian Williams MD, MPH is currently an associate professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he serves as the medical director for the Student & Employee Health Clinic and the director of the Public Health & General Preventive Medicine residency program. Until his return to Mississippi in 2022, he was director of the Occupational & Environmental Medicine residency program at University of Colorado and a clinical assistant professor in the Colorado School of Public Health. He has continued to work on grant-funded projects with his collaborators at the Colorado School of Public Health and the Center for Health, Work and Environment. He was also special advisor to the OEM residency program until 2024. Dr. Williams is board certified in occupational & environmental medicine, a fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, board certified in Family Medicine, and holds a Certificate in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine.
