Dr. Miranda Kofeldt is a clinical psychologist and the VP of Clinical Services at Ascellus, a company that connects injured workers to evidence-based behavioral health services focused on improving employee functional capacity, resiliency, and reducing lost work time. Areas of special interest and clinical expertise include health psychology and behavior change, approaches to motivational enhancement, and trauma-informed care. Dr. Kofeldt worked at University of Maryland Medical Center as a clinician, consultant, and supervisor for psychology and psychiatry residents, and spent a year as a research assistant professor and assistant director of clinical training at the University of Maryland College Park. She has co-authored three articles published in JOEM related to the delivery of behavioral health services and assessment in the context of workers' compensation, textbook chapters published by the American Psychiatric Association, and a monograph for the World Health Organization.
