Dr. Rosandra Daywalker is a transformational leader in health, safety, and well-being. She holds double board certification in Occupational & Environmental Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Public Health, as a NIOSH Total Worker Health® doctoral candidate at the Southwest Center for Occupational & Environmental Health (University of Texas). Dr. Daywalker has served as a corporate medical director and in leadership roles for various organizations-- such as the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU), the National Council for Residents, and as a founding advisory board member of the Society for Total Worker Health. Dr. Daywalker's honors and achievements include the 2023 ACU Excellence in Health Equity Award, 2022 ACLM H.E.A.L. Scholarship, Nathan Sostrin Unbeatable Mind Scholarship, Quality Improvement research award, Claude Organ research award, and several other academic and service awards. Her international experience includes community health leadership in Haiti and medical capacity building in Vietnam. She is a sought-after consultant and speaker, having presented at numerous venues nationally and internationally. Dr. Daywalker graduated with the highest honors from Morehouse School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and served as chapter Vice President. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami as a Foote Fellow and Ronald A. Hammond Scholar.Dr. Daywalker drives change at the individual and system levels through a trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary approach to care, programming, and policy. Her current research focuses on the impact of a trauma-informed, Total Worker Health approach to health and well-being. At the heart of Dr. Daywalker's work is her belief that genuine, positive connections with others and the world around us are fundamental to a healthy, fulfilling life.
