Program Director, Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency
University of Cincinnati
I direct the University of Cincinnati's OEM Residency Program, the oldest in the country! Our residents staff the combined Employee Health Clinic, which provides pre-boarding; wellbeing services; injury/illness/exposure assessment, treatment, and follow-up; hearing conservation; and the corporate responsibilities of surveillance, prevention, community outreach, quality improvement, and more, to 30,000 workers. My Board certifications are General Preventive Medicine and Public Health and Occupational and Environmental Medicine. We are striving for Total Worker Health at the two institutions: UC and UC Health. My academic interests include global health (work with USAID, American Red Cross, and other organizations in 33 countries), climate change, and integrating mental health services with primary care. I volunteer for SOTENI International, which works to break the cycle of poverty and disease in sub-Saharan Africa, and want to expand OEM globally.
