Dr. Mohamed is a physician with a background in primary care, public health, and clinical research. He is completing his Master of Public Health at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health as an MCOHS scholar.
His work focuses on occupational and environmental exposures, respiratory health, and health equity. He is currently collaborating with the Minnesota Department of Health on a project related to PFAS exposure and communication strategies for physicians. His recent research also highlights the systemic effects of occupational non-allergic rhinitis in high-risk professions, such as firefighting.
Dr. Mohamed draws from his clinical background and public health advocacy experience—including work during the Flint water crisis—to bridge the gap between science, policy, and medical practice.
