Fan-Yun Lan, MD, MS, PhD is currently an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health and Welfare Policy at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and works as an occupational physician at the university's affiliated hospital. Dr. Lan earned his MD from National Taiwan University, an MS in Environmental Health from National Cheng Kung University, and a PhD in Population Health Sciences from Harvard University. His research focuses on employing lifestyle medicine as a proactive strategy to reduce health risks in high-risk occupations, especially for firefighters and other first responders.
